Job description

AV-Rated, multi-practice firm seeks associate with 3 to 7 years Personal Injury experience. Admission to the Florida Bar, or pending admission, as well as excellent academic credentials are required. Candidate should possess excellent communication, research and writing skills, and be capable of working independently and as part of a team.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the managing shareholders on all aspects of litigating a Personal Injury case from inception to trial. The ideal candidate will have experience in trial preparation, jury trials, taking both lay witness depositions and expert witness depositions.

Roles and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Assisting with the management of personal injury cases, including medical review, writing demands and communicating with clients.

Supporting firm partners with litigation preparation, including attending hearings, writing motions, attending mediations, responding to discovery and client communications.

Evaluating the merits of a Personal Injury case, providing guidance and counsel to clients through effective communication, medical review, and negotiating and settling cases.

The ability to assist with a large caseload with effective leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year (Commensurate with experience)
