    We are seeking an attorney who enjoys litigation. Our litigation practice involves a variety of legal issues in the areas of intellectual property, business disputes, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Our ideal candidate is organized, diligent, and will work passionately alongside our partners and staff. If you have outstanding research and writing skills and would like to work on complex and novel legal issues, we would like you to apply. Responsibilities: • Manage a case load of 5-10 complex cases • Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients, and completing tasks • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions • Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis • Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as briefs, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings Qualifications: • Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 5 years is required • Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are required • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed • Able to work independently while handling multiple files • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 yearly
