Responsibilities: • Take responsibility for overseeing administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients, and completing tasks • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions • Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis • Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as briefs, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings • Participate in trial Qualifications: • Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 5 years is required • Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are required • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed • Able to work independently while handling multiple files • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 yearly
