    Busy General Practice Firm in Essex County/ Newark is actively seeking an experienced Civil Litigation/Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing law practice.

    Job Type: Full-time 8 am to 5 pm (8-hour shift). Weekends may be required, especially at the beginning of employment.

    Work Location: In person

    Experience: legal practice: at least 5 years (Required)

    License/Certification: NJ Bar (NJ Required; NY Bar is a plus)

    Skills and Qualifications:

    Admission to the New Jersey Bar in good standing with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Litigation/Personal Injury

    Ability to handle a high caseload

    Detail-oriented, organized, and quick

    Bilingual in Spanish is preferred; Portuguese is a plus

    Experience with Landlord/Tenant, Personal Injury, Workmen's Compensation, Family Law (divorce, child support, custody, TRO, etc.), and/or other areas of law

    Excellent interpersonal skills

    Excellent public speaking skills

    Ability to work cases either independently or as part of a team, to develop case strategies

    MUST have a driver's license and be computer literate.

    Attorneys' Duties and Responsibilities:

    Provide Civil Litigation representation

    Conduct interviews, depositions, and trials

    Drafting and submitting motions, complaints, answers, forms, and briefs in addition to other court/client correspondence

    Conducting complex legal research and case-specific analysis

    Salary: Six-figure salary

    Pay: Starting at (around) $110,000.00 per year, depending on experience.
