Responsibilities: • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings • Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses • Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs • Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels Qualifications: • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are required, as well as persuasive writing and verbal communication skills • Able to work independently while handling multiple files • Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry • Four-year bachelor’s degree and successful completion of law school from an accredited law school • Admitted to local and state bar associations Compensation: $150,000 - $300,000 yearly
