Litigation Associate (3rd / 4th Year)
The Vethan Law Firm, P.C. – Houston, TX (In-Office Position)

The Vethan Law Firm, P.C. is an AV Preeminent-rated boutique corporate and litigation firm representing business owners and entrepreneurs in state and federal courts throughout Texas and California.

About the Role

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can:

• Work collaboratively with creative colleagues.
• Draft documents, pleadings, and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Review financials and prepare damage calculations in complex business cases.
• Work with our new personal injury division (if that interests you).
• Assist in preparing for and attending trial, including witness prep, exhibit management, and courtroom strategy.

Preferred Skills

• Care about people who are facing incredible legal challenges.
• Think creatively about how to solve those challenges for our clients.
• Minimum 3 years (or in your 3rd year) of practice.
• Bill at least 40 net hours per week to client files.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Able to work with Chat GPT, Grok, and Lexis AI.
• A sense of humor.

• Submission of recent writing samples prepared by you.
• Law school transcripts.
• Anything else that shows you believe in working smarter.

Comp & Benefits

• Salary range: $110,000 – $130,000, depending on your experience.
• Medical insurance and 401(k) plan.
