Litigation & Estate Administration Paralegal - Legal Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Litigation & Estate Administration Paralegal / Legal Coordinator to support our expanding litigation and elder law practice. This role is ideal for a candidate with prior New Jersey litigation experience who enjoys managing cases, communicating with clients, maintaining organization across multiple matters, and working closely with attorneys in a collaborative boutique firm environment. What We Offer • Collaborative and supportive boutique firm environment • Meaningful and sophisticated legal work • Direct mentorship and training from experienced attorneys • Opportunity for long-term professional growth and increased responsibility • Exposure to both litigation and estate/elder law matters • Competitive compensation based on experience Responsibilities: • Assist with the management of litigation and estate administration files from intake through resolution • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, correspondence, and other legal documents • Maintain accurate case notes and updates within the firm’s case management system • Coordinate with courts, clients, medical providers, experts, opposing counsel, and carriers • Assist with New Jersey E-Courts filings and litigation deadlines • Organize and maintain client files, discovery materials, and medical records • Schedule hearings, depositions, meetings, and deadlines • Help ensure timely communication and follow-up across active matters • Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff to keep files progressing efficiently Qualifications: • 2–5 years of New Jersey litigation experience preferred • Familiarity with NJ E-Courts filing system required • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Experience with litigation case management and document drafting • Experience in personal injury, probate, estate litigation, or elder law is a plus, but not required • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software • Paralegal certificate and/or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required for experienced candidates Compensation: $75,000- $90,000 yearly DOE
