Currently, we have two legal associate positions open. The ideal candidates will possess strong written and oral communication skills and have a minimum of five to seven years of litigation experience. This is a full-time position with a salary and bonus range of $95,000 - $135,000 per year, depending on skills and experience. Responsibilities: • Independently manage an active caseload following the "ROWE" philosophy • Regularly communicate in writing and verbally with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel • Take and defend depositions, including parties and experts • Prepare and argue motions for summary judgment and other dispositive and procedural motions in both state and federal courts • Supervise junior attorneys and legal support staff • Provide timely monthly status reports to law firm partners and clients • Address Client Management concerns • Conduct weekly video legal training for a legal support team • Play an active role in developing processes and procedures Qualifications: • Previous experience in handling real estate transactions and litigation is preferred for this position • The ideal candidate should have experience in dealing with real estate issues and some areas of law that intersect with real estate law, for example, probate, bankruptcy, and business law • Strong management skills are necessary as the candidate will be interacting daily with a legal support team and/ or junior attorneys • Proficiency in online legal research programs, word processing, and case management software is a must • Excellent research and writing skills are crucial for this role • Strong communication and listening skills are essential • The candidate should possess strong organizational abilities Compensation: $95,000 - $135,000
