    A Senior Trial Attorney is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy civil litigation practice. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with substantial experience in all phases of litigation, particularly written discovery and case management. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced trial environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Propound and respond to all forms of written discovery, including:
    • * Interrogatories
      
      • Requests for Production
      • Requests for Admission
    • Maintain and manage a comprehensive litigation calendar, including:
    • * Court deadlines
      
      • Discovery cutoffs
      • Motion hearings
      • Trial-related dates
    • Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, and other litigation events
    • Communicate with clients to keep them reasonably informed regarding the status of their cases
    • Coordinate with opposing counsel, court personnel, court reporters, and vendors
    • Assist with trial preparation, including organization of exhibits and case files
    • Maintain accurate and well-organized electronic and physical case files

    Qualifications

    • Significant experience as a litigation legal assistant or paralegal in a civil litigation setting
    • Demonstrated proficiency with written discovery from start to finish
    • Strong calendaring and deadline-management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously
    • High level of professionalism and discretion

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience working directly with trial attorneys
    • Familiarity with court filing procedures (state and/or federal)
    • Proficiency with legal case management and calendaring software
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
