    Position: Legal Secretary — Litigation Team
    Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid schedule)

    Overview:
    A large, global law firm is expanding its Litigation practice and is seeking an experienced legal secretary to provide high-level support to attorneys. With recent growth in the group, the team needs an additional resource to help ensure smooth daily operations and strong client service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents; assist with filings and e-filings

    • Maintain attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, and manage travel arrangements

    • Prepare and process expense reports, conflict checks, and client correspondence

    • Create and maintain legal files (both physical and electronic)

    • Enter attorney time and handle administrative tasks promptly and accurately

    • Act as a point of contact for clients and external parties, ensuring professional communication

    • Provide backup support to other secretaries as needed and collaborate across the team

    Qualifications:

    • At least 3 years of experience supporting litigation attorneys, ideally including trial and appellate work

    • Familiarity with trial prep, depositions, and overall case support

    • Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office and document management systems

    • Ability to adapt to different systems and processes after onboarding

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Flexible with shifting priorities and willing to work overtime when needed

    Preferred:

    • College degree or business college certificate

    • Experience supporting appellate or government litigation a plus

    Soft Skills:

    • Professional, polished, and client-service oriented

    • Strong communicator and proactive team player

    • Reliable, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple deadlines

    Schedule:
    Hybrid model (three days onsite per week), specific days determined with the team.
