    About Us:
    We are a small, sophisticated litigation and trial law firm with offices in Northern and Southern California, handling a wide range of commercial and tort civil litigation matters. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional legal services to our clients. We’re currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our team, with a focus on supporting our existing cases, and importantly, an expanding caseload in the field of toxic torts, asbestos, and product liability (experience in these areas is a plus—but not required).

    What You’ll Do:

    • Prepare, serve, and file legal pleadings, motions, and other court documents in California State Courts and Federal Courts
    • Manage service of process of legal papers, including discovery and subpoenas, while ensuring compliance with California Code of Civil Procedure
    • Support discovery processes including initial drafting of discovery requests and responses, managing document productions, and summarizing depositions
    • Use eDiscovery tools and platforms to organize, review, and manage electronically stored information
    • Maintain case files and calendaring, although these duties will be primarily assigned to existing firm personnel
    • Collaborate closely with attorneys and other paralegals/legal assistants to prepare for and assist in hearings, mediations, and trials

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in California
    • Thorough understanding and proficiency in following the California Code of Civil Procedure, California Rules of Court, and Local Rules of Court
    • Proficiency in preparing and submitting court filings (e-filing and hard copy) and managing litigation support logistics
    • Proficiency in serving legal papers throughout the litigation life-cycle
    • Technical and practical proficiency with eDiscovery tools (Relativity, Concordance, Goldfynch, Everlaw or similar)
    • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
    • Prior experience with toxic torts, asbestos, or product liability litigation is a plus, but not required
    • Prior experience with Prolaw is a plus, but not required.
