AMBER HALL LAW is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to take an active role in managing and advancing litigation in a fast-paced personal injury practice. This is a hands-on position for someone who can stay ahead of deadlines, maintain control of case flow, and provide strong, reliable support from filing through trial. You will work closely with attorneys to keep cases moving with precision and efficiency—ensuring deadlines are met, files are organized, and matters are fully prepared for hearings, depositions, mediation, and trial. The right candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and operates with a strong sense of ownership and urgency. Compensation: • Base Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 (commensurate with experience). • Performance-Based Bonuses: Opportunity to earn quarterly and year-end bonuses tied to individual performance and key performance indicators (KPIs). • Benefits: Health insurance and 401(k) offerings, Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage all phases of litigation, ensuring cases progress smoothly from filing to trial. • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, with precision and timeliness. • Maintain organized case files and databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible for the legal team. • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, ensuring all materials are comprehensive and accurate. • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts, providing updates and gathering necessary information to support case development. • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide attorneys with relevant insights. • Monitor and manage court deadlines and court dockets, ensuring all filings and responses are submitted on time to avoid delays or penalties in case proceedings. Qualifications: • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal (personal injury experience strongly preferred). • Demonstrated working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, including calendaring and managing litigation deadlines. • Proven experience supporting cases through all phases of litigation, from filing through trial preparation. • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, attorneys, court staff, and opposing counsel. • Experience drafting legal documents, including motions, notices, proposed orders, and discovery. • Proficiency with case management software (Filevine preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high level of accuracy and accountability. • Self-starter with strong initiative—able to anticipate needs, prioritize tasks, and operate with minimal supervision.
