We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Litigation Paralegal to serve as the backbone of our trial team. You will support attorneys through every stage of the litigation lifecycle—from initial case assessment and pre-claim investigation to discovery, trial, and the post-trial appeal process. Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities • Case Management: Maintain organized physical and electronic case files, manage litigation calendars, and track all filing deadlines. • Document Drafting: Prepare initial drafts of pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for production, etc.). • e-Discovery & Technology: Oversee the e-Discovery process, including document collection, production, and review using platforms like Clio. • Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough legal and factual research using tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and AI-powered research platforms. • Trial Preparation: Organize trial notebooks, manage exhibits, coordinate with expert witnesses, and provide on-site courtroom support during hearings and trials. • Client Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to gather information and provide case updates. • Filings: Perform electronic filings (e-filing) in state and federal courts (e.g., CM/ECF). Qualifications: Required Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program. • Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in litigation (Personal Injury, Insurance Defense, or Commercial Litigation preferred). • Technical Skills: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel and Word are essential). • Expertise in case management and e-Discovery software. • Familiarity with 2026 AI legal tools for document summarization and research. • Certifications: NALA (CP/ACP) or NFPA (RP) certification is highly preferred. Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 yearly
