Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and issue UCC Article 9-406 Notices , including identifying appropriate contacts and reviewing bank statements/AR aging reports to determine recipients.
• Assist attorneys in preparing legal pleadings, including Summons & Complaints, Motions for Summary Judgment, and related court filings.
• Support case management from initiation through resolution , including file organization, deadline tracking, and correspondence.
• Track and manage cases that are assigned to external co-counsel , including monitoring timelines, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring updates are communicated internally.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors (e.g., mailing services, process servers, etc.).
• Assist with drafting and revising settlement agreements in accordance with applicable state laws.
• Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files, ensuring up-to-date documentation throughout the litigation lifecycle.
• Conduct research to support legal strategy and collections efforts, using public records, internal systems, and third-party tools.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of paralegal experience with a strong focus on MCA or commercial finance collections/litigation.
• Familiarity with UCC Article 9-406 , civil procedure rules, and state court litigation processes.
• Experience drafting legal documents and supporting attorneys through pre-litigation and active litigation phases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple matters simultaneously.
• Proficiency with legal document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
