  • Responsibilities

    A full-service Plaintiff’s personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload. This position requires direct support of attorneys handling active litigation cases in both state and federal courts. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case management from intake through trial or settlement • Draft and prepare legal documents, including complaints, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, and motions • Coordinate depositions, mediation, scheduling hearings in state and federal courts, and trials, including calendaring deadlines and court appearances. • Organize, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and other evidence • Maintain case files and update case management software • Assist in trial preparation and the assembly of trial binders and exhibits • Communicate with clients, medical providers, and expert witnesses Qualifications: • Minimum 5-7 years of litigation experience in a Plaintiff’s personal injury setting. • Maritime experience is a plus • Familiarity with Florida and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure • Proficiency with legal case management software (Filevine preferred) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Compensation: $75,000
