As a key member of our litigation team, you will be on the front lines, providing high-level support to our attorneys on complex, high-stakes business disputes. Responsibilities: Case Management: • The ability to self-manage all aspects of complex business litigation matters, including organizing and maintaining case files, identifying and tracking • deadlines, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal rules, as well as internal protocols. Factual Investigation/Research: • Conduct thorough factual research and investigations to support case strategy and litigation preparation. Document Preparation: • Draft, edit, and format pleadings, discovery requests, and discovery responses, and correspondence with accuracy and efficiency. Discovery: • Assist in all phases of discovery, including document collection, reviewing, and summarizing documents and deposition transcripts to uncover key information. Client Interaction and Third-Party Interaction: • Serve as a professional liaison with clients, witnesses, courts, and opposing counsel. Court Filings: • Ensure the timely and accurate filing of legal documents with courts and agencies, guaranteeing compliance with all local, state, and federal rules. Trial Support: • Provide essential support for hearings and trials, including exhibit preparation, witness coordination, and assisting with courtroom logistics. Qualifications: • Extensive experience in business litigation with a deep, practical understanding of the litigation process from start to finish. Extensive understanding of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (TRCP) and discovery deadlines. • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a paralegal in business litigation. • Paralegal certification is a must. • A demonstrated history of strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering work ethic. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), online investigative tools, e-filing systems, and emerging legal technology, including AI-based tools. • The ability to manage multiple tasks and strict deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional • demeanor. • Ability to work independently and with little to no supervision. Compensation: $70,000
