Responsibilities: • Case Management : Assist attorneys in managing complex litigation cases, including organizing documents, maintaining case files, and tracking deadlines • Legal Research : Conduct legal research using various databases and online resources to support case preparation • Document Preparation : Draft and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence • Discovery : Assist in the discovery process by collecting, reviewing, and summarizing documents and deposition transcripts • Client Interaction : Communicate with clients, witnesses, courts, and opposing counsel professionally and effectively • Court Filings : File legal documents with courts and agencies and ensure compliance with local rules • Trial Support : Provide support during trials, including preparing trial exhibits and assisting with courtroom logistics Qualifications: • Extensive experience in collections litigation, with a solid understanding of the collections process from start to finish • 2-3 years of civil litigation experience, particularly in commercial/business litigation with a strong focus on collections • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and legal research tools • Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program is a MUST • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation: $75,000+ yearly based on experience
