Litigation law firm seeks a paralegal to provide high-level litigation support for multiple attorneys. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of MS Word and Outlook (Excel and LEAP a plus), strong typing skills (at least 50 wpm), the ability to multitask, effective communication skills (both verbal and written), and a professional attitude. Candidate must possess excellent time management and organizational skills and produce a high-quality, timely work-product. Preferred candidates will possess an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or have paralegal experience, training, or education. Compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience. Responsibilities: • Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, and subpoenas; • Communications with clients, opposing counsel, clerks of court, and others; • Scheduling appointments, depositions, hearings, and trials; • Managing and organizing files; and • Assistance in trial preparation and presentation. Qualifications: • Associate or Bachelor's degree OR paralegal experience, training, or education preferred; and • Type 50 wpm or more. Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 depending upon experience
