Responsibilities: • Oversee all legal calendar deadlines and case milestones for the firm. • Efficiently organize legal appointments, court appearances, and related tasks. • Effectively prioritize the workload of cases. • Manage and prioritize client communications via phone and email. • Update and maintain client records in the firm's case management system. • Meticulously organize both physical and electronic client case files. • Accurately draft legal documents for meetings, depositions, and hearings. • Prepare discovery materials and respond to discovery demands. • Assist attorneys with legal research and cite-checking tasks. • Conduct thorough factual investigations and analysis of case issues. • Keep clients consistently and proactively informed about case status. • Communicate with courts, couriers, and litigation support vendors as required. • Support all stages of case preparation, including discovery and trial. • Diligently compile trial binders and coordinate trial exhibits. Qualifications: • At least 5 years of experience in paralegal litigation, with a preference for background in insurance bad faith cases. • Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification are preferred qualifications. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential. • High attention to detail is required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 365 is necessary, along with hands-on experience with office equipment such as multi-line phone systems, desktop computers, fax machines, and scanner/printers. • Must be well-organized, efficient, and skilled at prioritizing tasks effectively. • A positive attitude and a solution-focused mindset are crucial. • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment is required. • Excellent written communication skills with an emphasis on consistency, detail, and professionalism are essential. • Strong verbal communication skills with a customer-focused and proactive approach are needed. Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 plus performance based bonuses
