    Law Office of Shane R. Kadlec is seeking a litigation paralegal who can bring structure, follow-through, and strong case management to a fast-moving legal practice. The attorneys this role supports have a collaborative, people-oriented, and quick-decision work style, and work best with a teammate who is organized, proactive, calm under pressure, and strong with details. Benefits & Schedule We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support our team members both professionally and personally, including: • Competitive pay • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance 100% paid for by the firm. • Life Insurance • 401(k) with employer match • Paid time off • Paid holidays • Bonus pay This is a full-time position with the following schedule: • Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Responsibilities: • Manage case files from filing suit through settlement or trial preparation, including document organization, calendaring, and file maintenance. • Track deadlines, court settings, discovery responses, medical records, expert materials, and litigation tasks to ensure nothing is missed. • Maintain the litigation calendar and Filevine case management system. • Draft, format, revise, and file pleadings, discovery, correspondence, subpoenas, and other litigation documents. • Coordinate with clients, courts, court reporters, mediators, experts, medical providers, and opposing counsel in a professional and responsive manner. • Prepare and organize exhibits, chronologies, summaries, medical records, billing records, and other case support materials. • Help the attorney stay focused on key decisions by presenting organized facts, status updates, and next-action items in a clear and efficient format. • Follow through on open items without close supervision while also communicating early when priorities conflict or additional direction is needed. • Support trial and mediation preparation, including witness coordination, hearing notebooks, exhibit lists, and final pre-hearing logistics. • Maintain high standards for accuracy, record keeping, and procedural compliance, especially in a practice environment that moves quickly and values flexibility. Qualifications: • Prior litigation paralegal experience, preferably in plaintiff's personal injury or civil litigation. • Filevine experience preferred, but not required. • Strong proficiency with case management, calendaring, document management, and deadline tracking. • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to catch gaps, inconsistencies, or missing follow-up items before they become problems. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professionalism with clients and third parties. • Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and manage multiple active matters in a changing environment. • Comfortable being the person who brings structure, documentation, discipline, and steady execution to the litigation process. • Self-starter mindset with sound judgment, reliability, and the confidence to keep projects moving forward. • A paralegal certificate is preferred but not required if supported by substantial litigation experience. Compensation: $68,500+ DOE
