Work from home Mike Agruss Law is hiring a Litigation Paralegal (WFH). Ideal candidates will have at least 3+ years of experience handling personal injury cases. Experience with Litify is a plus! Responsibilities: You will be responsible for managing 75+ cases in litigation. You will also be responsible for the following: • Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, diary deadlines, and ensure all relevant documents, such as medical records, employment documents, and correspondence, are accurately filed and up-to-date. • Drafting : Draft necessary legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements. • Discovery: Propound and answer the written discovery. • Client and Professional Communication : Serve as a liaison between clients, attorneys, insurance companies, and medical professionals, managing communication to ensure timely updates and information flow. • Evidence Collection and Organization : Gather and meticulously organize evidence, including medical records, witness statements, and employment documentation, to support claims. • Preparation for Hearings and Depositions : Assist in preparing for hearings and depositions by compiling relevant information, preparing exhibits, and ensuring all necessary documents and evidence are readily accessible for the attorney. Qualifications: • Completion of the NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants) certification program is strongly preferred. • Must have strong interpersonal skills and a talent for writing and grammar. • At least 3+ years of experience in personal injury. • Candidates should possess high-level organizational and time-management skills. • ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired. Compensation: $55,000 + bonus
