Litigation Paralegal – Commercial Litigation Sul Lee Law Firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support our commercial litigation team, with a strong preference for candidates who have prior construction industry experience. Individuals who have worked for construction companies in project administration, contract management, estimating, billing, accounting support, or other back-office roles are encouraged to apply. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing documents, understanding how projects operate, and helping attorneys develop claims and defenses in complex business and construction disputes. Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial and construction litigation. • Organize, review, and analyze contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, proposals, quotes, invoices, change orders, pay applications, schedules, correspondence, and project records. • Develop chronologies and timelines of project events. • Review facts and evidence to identify inconsistencies, missing documentation, and potential strengths and weaknesses in claims and defenses. • Assist with document collection, document management, and discovery. • Draft motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, and other litigation documents. • Prepare exhibits, hearing notebooks, deposition materials, and trial materials. • Track court deadlines and maintain organized case files. • Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and firm personnel regarding document collection and case support. • Assist attorneys in identifying evidence supporting causes of action such as breach of contract, quantum meruit, prompt payment claims, construction defects, delay claims, and related business disputes. Qualifications: • Prior experience as a litigation paralegal required; trial experience preferred. • Construction industry experience strongly preferred. • Ability to understand and analyze construction contracts, project documentation, billing records, and financial records. • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with motion practice, discovery, and case management. • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently. Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000
