    Job Title: Litigation Paralegal – Property Claims Location: Winter Park, Florida Job Type: Full-Time Department: Legal / Claims Litigation

    About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with experience in property claims to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support our attorneys in managing a high-volume caseload involving first-party property insurance claims. This position requires a strong understanding of litigation procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case intake, discovery, trial preparation, and document management

    Draft legal documents such as pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence

    Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are current and properly filed

    Review property insurance policies, claims, and supporting documentation

    Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials

    Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, vendors, and court personnel

    Conduct legal research and summarize findings as needed

    Maintain deadlines and calendaring for active litigation matters

    Qualifications:

    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal certificate required

    Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in property insurance or civil litigation

    Strong knowledge of court rules, procedures, and e-filing systems

    Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Case Management systems, Microsoft Office Suite)

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities

    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    Preferred Experience:

    Familiarity with first-party property claims or insurance defense

    Experience handling Florida property litigation (or relevant state, if applicable)

    Trial preparation experience
