Job Description
ROLE:
The Executive Assistant will be the essential support for our founder, handling all administrative business and personal tasks that come up to ensure that the organization runs smoothly and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle customer service, including calls, voicemail, emails, and social media messages.
- Manage our social media pages and other digital media, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, our e-newsletter, and our blog. Using post scheduling tools like Planoly and others to help streamline content. Repurposing content for different platforms. Making updates and changes to our website.
- Create and follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s), including identifying opportunities for creating new procedures that will help our processes be more effective and efficient.
- Organize and respond to emails.
- Book personal and professional travel.
- Manage the founder’s calendar, including both personal and professional appointments and meetings.
- Connect with potential partners for collaboration and marketing opportunities.
- Research products and make purchases.
- Research, fact-check, and proofread our curriculum, lessons, blogs, and other content to ensure it is accurate, high-quality, and formatted to our standards.
- Manage product shipping and tracking.
- Attend calls with founder, take notes, and determine action items from call.
- Act as a sounding board for the founder.
- Look for areas of opportunity to make the founder’s life easier and take things off her plate.
- All other administrative tasks that come up that can support the growth of the organization or provide support for the founder, both personally and professionally.
RESULTS: The founder feels supported to focus on strategic efforts, knowing you’re handling the administrative tasks effectively and efficiently. Our systems and processes are created, refined, and documented to make tasks smooth, easy, and predictable. We maintain and strengthen the trust our community has in us by showing up consistently and professionally.

- You are an excellent writer and have great communication skills.
- You’re known for coming up with creative ideas to solve problems and being extremely resourceful. If there’s a problem, you’re going to try to find a solution first.
- You are comfortable managing both personal and business tasks for the founder.

Company Description
Little Justice Leaders provides monthly subscription boxes to caregivers and educators of kids in grades K-6th to break down complex social justice topics in fun, age-appropriate ways. We cover topics including anti-racism, feminism, LGBTQ+ pride, gender identity, immigration, environmental sustainability, religious diversity, disability justice, and more. Our goal is to create a kinder, more inclusive world by helping young people develop a passion for diversity, justice, and changing the world.
