    Job Description

    SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISITICS FREIGHT FORWARDER - KATY, TEXAS OFFICE

    Under the supervision of the Sales Operation Manager, the Freight Forwarder will review and process shipment transactions, including all related activities, for one or more major accounts, and to provide excellent, proactive and timely customer service. Serves as the primary contact for all parties concerning assigned account contracts. Performs all duties correctly, cost-efficiently, and according to Company standards using the regular exercise of discretion and independent judgment. This position is responsible for handling LiuGong Machinery's whole goods supply chain of heavy equipment. Accountable for inventory sourcing and supervision, global logistics, inland freight, and intermodal transport. Other responsibilities consist of import compliance regulations and law, machine pre-shipment procedures, SAP maintenance, along with vendor financial accounts and invoicing.

    MUST HAVE SAP EXPERIENCE

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Ocean freight and global logistics from shipment ports in China and Poland for North American stockyards.

    · Supervision of Import and Export compliance documentation regarding both CBP and EPA requirements.

    · Manual creation of documentation including but not limited to, Manufacturer’s Certificates of Origin, Letters of Authorization, Transport Bills of Lading, CCI Forms and Packing Lists.

    · Support dealers and LGNA personnel with technical product information, pricing, and availability.

    · 3PL, DOH, EPA, CBP, relationship management and compliance.

    · Process Dealer CE and FL machine orders, including logistics supervision for inland delivery’s to dealers.

    · Full cycle processing, machine make ready and product tracking to dealer

    · Working with 3rd party logistics providers for inland freight competition

    · Update internal clients and sales managers on the status of shipments

    · Heavy Excel reporting to subsidiary management and HQ in China.

    · Monitor Accounts Receivable and process invoices from vendors including inland carriers, customs brokerage and 3PL providers.

    · Assist in providing AEM Market share data as requested by dealers and regional sales managers.

    · Maintain SAP Machine Inventory Report

    · Create and maintain Release Authorizations for all CE and FL Sales upon completion of the make ready procedure.

    · Assist in creation and maintain SAP Data through analysis and management of production machine receiving for CE and FL pillars.

    · Assist in creation and provide completed Sales Invoices for purchased machines through SAP processes to dealers and management.

    · Coordinate and monitor the delivery of the machines ordered by both Key Accounts and dealers, submitting data to supervisor for master sales report by each Friday.

    · Develop monthly retail-order –inventory information of dealers, collecting them from RSM by the 3rd quarter of the year.

    BACKGROUND & SKILLS

    § Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or related field preferred, and THREE TO FIVE YEARS OF SUPPLY CHAIN ON THE JOB EXPERIENCE.

    § Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Operating Systems.

    § SAP experience.
