About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized, non-medical support for the client. This role requires someone attentive, patient, and experienced in supporting clients with chronic health conditions while ensuring safety and comfort in the home.

Responsibilities

Personal Care (ADLs): Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting while maintaining dignity and comfort.

Mobility Support: Help with safe transfers, walking assistance, and fall prevention.

Oxygen Safety Monitoring: Ensure oxygen equipment is functioning properly and follow safety protocols.

Meal Preparation: Prepare heart-healthy meals according to dietary guidelines.

Household Tasks (IADLs): Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, organized home.

Medication Reminders: Provide timely reminders for prescribed medications (non-medical).

Companionship: Offer emotional support, conversation, and engagement in activities.

Errands & Transportation: Assist with shopping, appointments, and other errands as needed.

Overnight Presence: Be available for assistance during the night if required.

Requirements

Previous caregiving experience (professional or personal) required; experience with oxygen use preferred.

Ability to assist with personal care and mobility.

Knowledge of oxygen safety and emergency response protocols.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be reliable, patient, and trustworthy.

Ability to live on-site with scheduled time off.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).

Background check required.
