    Manufacturing Engineer – Disruptor Manufacturing

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to lead our Florida warehouse and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for implementing our mission, vision, and core beliefs while ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic oversight with day-to-day execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide technical support for DM employees.

    Participate in R&D for new products and product improvements.

    Host tours for prospective clients and promote Disruptor Manufacturing’s offerings.

    Meet monthly with Droplet International management for month-end reporting.

    Track, measure, and report company performance metrics (products, revenues, etc.).

    Know products and offerings thoroughly and be able to speak to and demonstrate their benefits.

    Streamline and bring efficiencies to manufacturing processes.

    Apply knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to Disruptor Manufacturing

    · Process Development and Improvement: Designing new production methods and systems and continuously evaluating and improving existing ones to increase efficiency and reduce waste (often using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies).

    · Troubleshooting and Support: Providing daily technical support to production teams, including troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, resolving process issues, and leading root-cause analysis of defects.

    · Equipment and Tooling Management: Evaluating, selecting, installing, and maintaining production equipment, machinery, and automation systems, including the design of jigs, fixtures, and tools.

    · Quality Control and Compliance: Developing and implementing quality control procedures and testing methods to ensure products meet specifications and industry standards (such as ISO or FDA regulations).

    · Workflow and Layout Planning: Analyzing and planning facility layouts and workflows to optimize material flow, space requirements, and overall production efficiency.

    · Cost Analysis and Reporting: Estimating production, labor, and material costs, and analyzing data and trends to provide management with reports for better decision-making.

    · Collaboration and Training: Working closely with cross-functional teams (such as design engineers, quality assurance, and maintenance staff) and training production personnel on new or revised processes and equipment.

    · New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborating with design engineers to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability (DFM) and supporting their seamless launch into production.

    · Safety and Sustainability: Ensuring all manufacturing processes and equipment comply with safety regulations and, in some cases, developing sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact.

    Qualifications

    10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in senior leadership

    Proven track record of scaling operations and driving revenue growth

    Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP strongly preferred

    Compensation & Benefits

    Competitive base salary $100,000

    Performance-based incentives and executive bonus program (up to $40,000)

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and stand or move for long periods.

    Typically, it works indoors in a warehouse setting.

    The role requires physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

    Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

    Full-time, office-based role with occasional travel to various sites or facilities.

    Occasional evening and weekend work may be required, especially for emergencies or planned maintenance
