    DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

    We are looking for a dedicated support staff member who is ready to make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism living in our residential group home. This person will be responsible for supporting one or both of our consumers. This is a part-time position working 2nd shift weekdays.

    General Summary: As a direct support professional, your main goal is to empower our adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live active and fulfilling lives in their own homes and local community while assisting them with the activities of daily living.

    Our consumers: These adult consumers live independent lives but require support with managing finances, transportation, and taking part in community activities. Our staff are the primary support team for these consumers.

    About the shift: This is a 2nd shift position working every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3pm-11pm.

    Job Requirements:

    Minimum of 18 years of age

    Minimum high school diploma or GED

    Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license (out of state license must be converted to a Pennsylvania license within 6 months of hire)

    Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screening, criminal background check, and driver history check

    Salary: $17.00 per hour

    Schedule:

    Monday, Wednesday, Thursday; 2nd shift

    3pm-11pm
