Living Room is a glamorous, night-only venue with outdoor space, serving bespoke and signature cocktails, crave-worthy small plates, and an eclectic wine list. Evenings come alive with nightly curated live music, artfully designed to enchant and inspire. The Living Room Bartender is responsible for crafting and serving exceptional cocktails, fine wines, and premium spirits while delivering an engaging and personalized guest experience. This role requires deep mixology knowledge, precision in execution, and the ability to curate unforgettable moments at the bar.
The ideal candidate is a passionate beverage professional with a refined approach to cocktail-making, a strong understanding of global spirits and wine, and the ability to engage guests with storytelling and expert recommendations.
This is full-time position with an hourly compensation of $18.00 per hour plus tips.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Help create and serve high-quality cocktails, spirits, and beverages that align with Faena’s elevated luxury standards.
Engage guests in an immersive bar experience, providing personalized recommendations and cocktail education.
Maintain a deep knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, wine pairings, and artisanal spirits.
Ensure the bar is fully stocked, impeccably clean, and organized at all times.
Monitor and control liquor costs, waste, and portioning to maximize efficiency.
Collaborate with the Beverage Director and Bar Manager to create seasonal and signature cocktails.
Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws, health codes, and Faena safety standards.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Bartender in a luxury hotel, Michelin-starred venue, or high-end cocktail bar.
Extensive knowledge of global wine and spirits, including small-batch and exclusive allocations.
Proficiency in POS systems, bar inventory software, and cash handling procedures.
Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
SKILLS
Mastery of cocktail-making techniques, including stirring, shaking, muddling, and garnishing.
Deep understanding of spirits, wines, aperitifs, and non-alcoholic craft beverages.
Ability to create an engaging atmosphere at the bar while managing high guest volume.
Meticulous attention to detail in beverage presentation and hospitality.
Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced luxury setting.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces
Remain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shift
