About the Role:
Join Shield Home Loans as a Loan Officer Assistant and play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams! Located in the vibrant city of Irvine, CA, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service and support in the lending process. This role is for someone who is experienced in the mortgage industry, prefers consistency, and less sales requirements.
Responsibilities:
Assist Loan Officers in processing loan applications and preparing necessary documentation.
Handle inbound and outbounding calls, files funded from your outbound calls earn an extra $250 in bonuses!
Communicate with clients to gather required information and ensure a smooth loan process.
Maintain organized files and track loan progress to meet deadlines.
Conduct follow-ups with clients and third-party vendors to facilitate timely approvals.
Prepare and review loan documents for accuracy and compliance.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the loan process.
Utilize loan origination software to manage and update client information.
Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the loan processing phase.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the mortgage industry or as a Loan Officer Assistant is preferred.
Strong understanding of loan processing and mortgage regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan origination software.
A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or business is a plus.
