Responsibilities: • Assist loan officers with the preparation, review, and processing of loan applications and documentation • Conduct credit analysis and basic math calculations to support underwriting decisions • Manage loan files using financial software such as Quicken or other banking systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary financial documents, including income verification, escrow details, and contracts • Support loan servicing activities by monitoring loan status updates and ensuring compliance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines • Facilitate communication between borrowers, escrow companies, and underwriters to streamline the loan process • Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including TILA disclosures and contracts, adhering to regulatory standards Qualifications: Skills • Proven experience in financial sales and customer service within the mortgage or banking industry • Strong negotiation skills to effectively assist clients and support sales initiatives • Familiarity with FNMA guidelines, mortgage servicing, underwriting procedures, and escrow processes • Proficiency in financial software such as Quicken, accounting software, and other banking tools • Knowledge of TILA regulations, fair housing laws, and mortgage contracts to ensure compliance • Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately using 10-key typing skills and math fundamentals Compensation: $22 hourly
