Job Summary:
Provides member service by assisting members with applying, processing and approving various types of consumer and mortgage loans.
- Interviews members to determine loans appropriate for their needs and obtain information for processing and approving loans.
- Analyzes loan applications and approves or denies loans within limits. Sends special exceptions to the manager for approval. Communicate decisions to the members.
- Processes consumer loan including obtaining credit reports, proof of income, insurance, buyer orders and other needed information.
- Processes mortgage loans including title research, collateral mortgage/note documents, etc.
- Obtains signatures at closing of the loan and posts loan in system.
- Analyzes, researches and resolves problems and discrepancies related to member accounts.
- Contacts members, for those loans personally approved, who are 30 days late on payment.
- Prepare loan estimate, closing discloser and other documents on 1st mortgages or documents for HELOC
- Any other duties and assignments as assigned.
