As a Loan Officer, you’ll work with inbound and self-generated leads, live transfers, and clients directly to originate loans while providing elite customer service. Responsibilities: • Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction • Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines • Establish and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and the community at large in order to retain existing and attract new business • Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements • Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them • Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners • Work closely with borrowers, internal staff, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements • Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines • Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements • Work live transfers & self-generated leads – Turn them into closed loans • Expand your network – Realtors, builders, financial advisors & more • Own your pipeline – Deliver elite customer service & high close rates • Collaborate with top processors & underwriters – Get deals done fast • Stay sharp – Leverage ongoing training & market insights to stay ahead Qualifications: • Active California NMLS License • 1–5 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer • Proven experience originating conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA, FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit • Strong desire to continuously learn and grow within the industry through coaching • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations and underwriting guidelines • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills • Confident, sales-driven closer with a track record of building and managing a pipeline • Competitive, motivated, and self-starting with a desire to grow Compensation: $120,000+ commission-based earning potential
