    Loan Operations (Temp-to-Perm)

    Location: NYC

    RTO: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Manage the full lifecycle processing of various loan types, including syndicated and private corporate loans, commercial real estate loans, bonds, equities, derivatives, and more. This includes processing loan notices for events such as paydowns, interest, coupons, delayed draws, revolvers, PIK, and cashless rolls.
    • Ensure accurate and timely data maintenance while adhering to and evidencing established controls.
    • Oversee daily reconciliation of cash, positions, and accruals, while promptly resolving settlement issues and exceptions.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Middle Office (for month-end fund requirements), Securities Master team (for asset setup and lifecycle events), Reconciliation team (for break resolution), and Business/Legal colleagues.
    • Partner with external Trustees, Custodians, Prime Brokers, and Agents to resolve pending settlements and discrepancies.
    • Monitor and record restructures, bridge/commitment fees, and interest defaults.
    • Maintain and update process documentation, with the ability to evidence controls and calculations.
    • Take full ownership of the process by responding to queries and ensuring accurate, end-to-end execution.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelors Degree
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
    • Product knowledge exposure to private and public assets, Bank Debt and respective facility types (term loans, revolvers, delayed draws, etc.), Commercial Real Estate loans, Public Funds, Corporate Bonds, Credit Default Swaps, Corporate Actions – Mandatory and Voluntary, Foreign Exchange (FX), Equity/Options (listed and OTC)
    • Strong knowledge of finance (P&L/NAV/etc.)
    • Strong work ethic shows initiative and deep desire to learn and strengthen individual skill set.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize workload. Someone who encourages continuous improvement.
    • Must be detail oriented, organized, and can work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) is required
