Responsibilities: • Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service • Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator • Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items • Assemble loan documentation as required necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork • Gather initial documentation and fully structure a loan • Offer solutions to the client for the best path forward for their situation • Confidently deliver pre-qualification to the client • Ability to be creative and think outside the box Qualifications: • Possess an advanced understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. • Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred • Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients • College degree in finance or banking preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required • Preferably 5+ years of experience in a professional office or mortgage environment as a mortgage loan officer assistant or similar position Compensation: $55,000+ DOE plus bonus
