You’re the heartbeat of the loan process, ensuring clients feel supported at every step. • Loan Process Guide: Seamlessly guide borrowers through applications—whether digital, by phone, or in person—making their experience smooth from start to finish. • Preparation and Precision: Gather and prepare all documentation with accuracy, ensuring clients’ loans move seamlessly through the “contact to contract” phase. • Communication Powerhouse: You’ll be the main point of contact, addressing borrower questions with a level of service that leaves them raving about their experience. • Mortgage Product Knowledge Expert: Stay current on FHA, VA, CONV, and USDA products so that you’re ready to handle any client scenario with confidence. • Process Leader: Communicate effectively with the loan officer, processor, operations team, and all relevant parties to maintain smooth, synchronized operations. • Problem Solver Extraordinaire: Tackle loan issues head-on, resolving challenges before they escalate and ensuring clients stay on track for closing. • Continuous Learner: Soak up knowledge, contribute to process improvements, and constantly push yourself to be the best in your field. Who You Are: • A seasoned mortgage professional with 2+ years of continuous experience in a role such as Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Partner, Processor, Loan Officer, or Underwriter (5+ years preferred). • You bring expertise in credit analysis, income and asset documentation, and loan structuring. • NMLS licensed (or ready to become licensed if required). • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and known for delivering exceptional service. • Proficient in DU, LP, and mortgage software with a thorough understanding of procedures, guidelines, and documentation. • You’re a natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, making every client feel valued and every team member supported. • Ready to support top-performing Originators by creating a seamless, coordinated, and CARE-ing experience for clients and referral partners alike. Responsibilities: • Obtain property documentation to process mortgage loan files, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records • Determine the best loan option for the borrower through interviewing and discussion • Liaise between the mortgage lending underwriting department, mortgage loan originators, real estate agents, and applicants to facilitate loan approval • Assure that loan files meet banking and regulatory guidelines and policies • Work with the borrower to gather financial information such as credit reports, verify the accuracy to determine creditworthiness, and complete the mortgage loan application Qualifications: • 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required • Accounting, finance, or business Associate’s degree preferred - High school diploma or GED required • Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans • Strong analytical and time management skills and superior attention to detail • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation: $55,500
