Looking to grow your career in the financial services industry? We're hiring a detail-oriented Loan Processor to join a well-established credit union in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a full-time, temporary role with no end date, offering a competitive pay rate of $26–$28 per hour.

Position Details:

• Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
• Pay: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Type: Temporary (no end date)

Loan Processor Responsibilities:

• Process and fund direct and indirect consumer loan applications
• Review loan packages for accuracy and prepare them for final funding
• Input and verify data in the loan origination system to ensure compliance
• Disburse loan proceeds and perform system maintenance
• Issue Truth in Lending and RESPA documents
• Follow up on outstanding documentation to ensure a seamless loan process
• Suggest improvements to streamline loan processing and enhance member satisfaction
• Communicate with internal teams, dealerships, and members regarding loan status

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work across multiple systems and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Familiarity with loan documentation, TILA, RESPA, and credit union regulations preferred
