Position Summary This is a full time, non-exempt position that requires excellent customer service skills and an ability to work well with a team. The job duties will include preparation of loan files, ordering services, preparing loan documents, disbursement of approved loan funds, servicing existing loans, identifying potential loan problems, and a variety of other loan operation duties. This position is in the Grand Junction Administrative Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read, understand and enforce loan policy on a new, renewed and modified loans.
- Willingness to rotate duties and take on new tasks, learn multiple areas of the department, and help any area of TWAY when necessary.
- Understand VTO, Traction and read traction book, engage in conversations and goal setting for the team and yourself individually.
- Show the ability to follow VTO and compete assigned quarterly rocks, both for the team and yourself individually.
- Provide quality customer service promptly and courteously at all times to customers, team members, participating banks, and other vendors.
- Understand and demonstrate proficiency with loan terminology and the TWAY process.
- Learn and demonstrate proficiency in multiple assigned tasks with loan production on either the servicing or production positions, as well as begin monitoring pipelines and assist with assigning duties with team members, which could include:
- Process Loan Documents in compliance with federal laws and regulations and internal policies.
- Input loans onto the Bank's core system, and maintenance of loans and monitoring of ongoing morning reports.
- Perform miscellaneous functions including environmental reviews, and adverse action preparation.
- Performs various clerical duties related to lending such as quoting and applying payoff's, filing/scanning loan papers and verifying collateral insurance and lien filings, updating agenda portals documenting and keeping team meeting minutes, etc.
- Coordinate with various vendors including title companies, appraisers, attorneys to ensure adequate asset quality.
- Assist with loan research and tickets as needed for loan accounts.
- Perform miscellaneous functions including introductory audit research and understand how GLs are balanced.
- Ongoing document preparation, monitoring and payments with Government agencies including the SBA, CHFA, USDA and other agencies.
- Prepare and present potential trainings on job duties, and train other team members and Timberline staff on tasks you are proficient at.
- Prepare and present Internal Controls and document TWAY processes.
- Start assisting with culture talks, presentations, and finding and documenting solutions to issues that arise as regulations and processes change.
- Perform various other duties as required by management.
- Duties to be expanded on as experience and professional goals are achieved.
Required Knowledge and Expertise
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge or ability to learn banking services and products to offer solutions to meet the customers' needs.
- Knowledge or ability to learn BSA laws/regulations regarding the collection/reporting of customers' information.
- General working knowledge of the compliance laws/regulations regarding loan accounts.
- Ability to use various office equipment, including but not limited to computer, scanner, printer, 10 key, excel, and other miscellaneous loan production platforms and Core processing centers.

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Incentives based on Timberline Team goals may also be offered.
