FirsTier Bank is a family-owned community bank currently servicing 11 markets throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. We are currently searching for a Loan Review Specialist to join our Corporate team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Perform regular loan portfolio reviews of all credit types including commercial, real estate, agricultural and consumer loans for asset quality, documentation adequacy and compliance with both loan policy and regulatory requirements.

• Validate accuracy of the Risk Ratings, as well as timeliness of Risk Rating Changes.

• Verify quality, completeness, and accuracy of supporting loan documentation and analysis.

• Identify and evaluate portfolio trends such as delinquency, bankruptcy, collateral coverage, and industry concentrations.

• Review bank processes such as loan approval, policy exception reporting, supervisory loan to value limits, underwriting, covenant tracking, internal controls, concentration reporting, and ACL methodology to report trends and/or suggest changes to improve the effectiveness of tracking systems and policy adherence.

• Review loan policy for adequacy with respect to applicable laws, regulations, and economic conditions.

• Assess problem loan management / workout plan effectiveness.

• Aid and consult with Credit Administration, Branches, lenders, other lending personnel, auditors, and regulatory examiners.

• Prepare an executive summary of each review and present findings to Board of Directors as appropriate.

• Contribute to a positive team environment through the department, branch, and Bank.

• Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of five years of experience in commercial credit analysis.

• General computer skills with specific knowledge of Windows-based applications.

• Knowledge of bank lending policies.

• Proven communication and interpersonal skills to successfully communicate.

• Strong problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time; Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week

• Pay Range: $90,000 to $110,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience.
