Loan Specialist

Selected individual will be responsible for reviewing submissions for select Borrower's Assistance program approvals and processing, such as deferments, loan modifications and reages (borrower assistance-loss mitigation transaction). Underwrite loss mitigation transactions. Understand company policies and procedures.

Additional skills: Fast paced, attention to detail, adaptability

Position is hybrid, in Baltimore office 2 days per week,(Tues/Thurs) however first 3-4 weeks in office 5 days a week for training. Possibly longer training period depends on candidate. After that hybrid in office 2 days a week.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory Skills

• 3-5+ years in consumer loan underwriting
• Previous credit review experience a plus
• Ability to perform in a high volume work environment, must have good problem -solving skills, analytical skills, attention to detail.
• Ability to have regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to prioritize work to meet set deadlines
• Maintain positive customer relationships
• Meet assigned performance plan objectives (i.e. goals)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent PC skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Additional skills: Fast paced, attention to detail, adaptability

Desired Skills

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Experience in lending/financial institutions with borrower's assistance.
