Key responsibilities will be:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Journal entries for all mortgage loan origination and sales transactions
• Preparation of financial statements
• Bank & GL reconciliations
• Assist with year-end audits and tax return filings
• Assist with other accounting/administrative/regulatory reporting tasks

Skills and experience needed:

• 2 years of Mortgage Accounting experience is required
• 5 years of overall accounting experience
• QBO and Bill.com experience preferred
• Encompass experience is a preferred
• Good understanding and knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work product
• Proficient in Excel and Word
