JOB DESCRIPTION:

LoanStream Mortgage, located in the heart of Irvine, CA, is an established Lender within the mortgage industry that is offering a unique opportunity. We are currently looking for an experienced Sr. Retail Processor to work remotely or in our office located in Irvine, CA.

We are a very aggressive up and coming mortgage company. Our emphasis is on closing our clients’ loans quickly and efficiently with the utmost effort put on service.

In order to continue our rapid growth and unbeatable service, we are currently interviewing for a competent, upbeat individual who believes in service the way we do and isn’t afraid to put in the effort to help us maintain our high standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

• Process retail Conventional, FHA, NonQM, and Prime loans
• Provide high quality service by communicating clearly and effectively with borrowers, internal counterparts, and various third parties during the loan transaction
• Coordinate the closing of the loan and act as borrowers’ main point of contact throughout the entire loan process through funding
• Obtain all necessary documentation from borrowers, vendors, and third parties
• Collecting all documentation
• Order title, appraisal, VOE, VOM etc..  
• Solve any curative issues that arise during the processing of the loan
• Package and submit loan files to in-house underwriters and/or external investors
• Other duties as assigned
• Knowledge of Encompass preferred, however not mandatory. Very similar to the other LOS used in this industry

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
