    THE SCOPE:

    We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Account Managers answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Wholesale and Brokers) to improve the entire customer experience. Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual who should collaborate with our Wholesale team, support our brokers, and keep our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long-run.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work directly with brokers on conditions, documents and questions
    • Effectively manage pipeline of 50+ loans
    • Clear conditions in a timely manner
    • Organize, index and evaluate imaged documents
    • Pre-screen all conditions before forwarding to underwriting for clear to close
    • Keep files compliant and generate and send LEs and CDs
    • Must be able to multitask and have a great attitude
    • Proactively solve issues and provide solutions; executing as appropriate
    • Adhere to all applicable policies and procedures, governing regulations, including compliance
    • Ensure excellent service is provided to our internal and external customers/partners
    • Work closely with Broker, Account Executive, Underwriter and the Funding team to move file through process
    • Assist other AM
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by manager.
    • Based on business needs overtime may be required.

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must have Wholesale Mortgage experience
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Account Manager
    • Extensive knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional and NQM loan programs for both purchase & refinances
    • Understanding of mortgage processing, underwriting and closing procedures
    • Encompass LOS experience is highly preferred
    • Mavent experience
    • Experience with both wet & dry states
    • Ability to work independently and anticipate needs
    • Present example of team sprit
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail oriented and quality focused
    • Problem solving and decision-making abilities
    • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and manage projects
