    Job Description

    GENERAL:

    Reporting to the Treasury Director and President, the Treasury Manager is mainly responsible for the daily accuracy of the loan data within the servicing system, compliance with company lending policies, securitization and banking relationships, investor relations, and financial planning and forecasting. On a secondary basis, the Treasury Manager assists the CFO on annual audits, regulatory or bank exams, and technical accounting issues or other specialized financial accounting issues. The Treasury Manager also assists the President on special projects as needed.

     

    JOB DUTIES:

    Daily analysis and review of all booked loans for accuracy of data in the servicing system, compliance with legal and company policy and guidelines. The results of the daily reviews are distributed to management and branch operations for training and corrective action.

    Lead and take full control of the Capital Markets and securitization functions under the direction of the Treasury Director and President. In conjunction with the Treasury Director be the liaison between the company and all partners in the securitization process including bankers, investors, accountants and vendors. Maintain and update corporate investor relations materials. Plan and coordinate regular bank meetings and roadshows. Prepare accurate and timely monthly securitization servicer reports and other lending reports. Be the lead user and develop and maintain reporting from Moody's Analytics Ki software.

    Own and maintain the creation and updating of the long term forecast and periodic budgets, including cash management.

    Assist accounting department with monthly financial reporting, year end external audit, and other regulatory exams.

    Prepare ad hoc reports and projects in conjunction with the Information Technology and accounting departments. Work with IT on new software for securitization or accounting use.

    Identify, recommend and implement financing solutions or structures to improve cash flow or reduce costs.

    Manage and develop an analyst position to be hired once this individual is on board and securitization transactions are active.

    Problem solving Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Ability to work in a highly time-sensitive, deadline oriented environment with multi-tasking skills.

    Technical skills Advanced MS Excel software. Strong database management skills. Ability to learn and utilize Moody's Analytics securitization software. Knowledge of auto lending, consumer lending, securitization and capital markets. Ability to understand lending agreement legal terms and conditions and evaluate according to business needs and conditions.

    Oral Communications excellent oral communication skills and ability to speak clearly and precisely in discussing complex topics.

    Written Communication writes clearly, informatively and detailed based on the level and needs of the intended recipients.

    Cost conscious Works within approved budgets and looks for cost saving actions or measures.

    Professionalism- approaches others with tact and reacts well under pressure.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field required.
