Our family-run, locally owned, tax preparation business is growing and in need of a part time administrative assistant. Experience in a professional office or HR department is a bonus but not a requirement. An ideal applicant for this position will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and willing to help clients and tax preparers alike. Additionally, an ideal candidate would be interested in taxes/tax preparation, though this is not a requirement.
Job Requirements:
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs)
Knowledge of standard office technology, including a desktop computer, office phone, etc.
Continuous Learning Attitude
Ability to be flexible and problem-solve on the job
Ability to travel to South Bend, Indiana and Mishawaka, Indiana, a couple of times per week
General Job Duties (more duties may be assigned):
Payroll and time card adjustments
Answering phone calls for an office/management team
Managing emails, calendar, and tasks for the management team
Scheduling employees in our system
Ability to run company errands if needed
Ordering office supplies and maintaining office inventory
Other ad hoc tasks, as needed
