We're based right here in Kennesaw, and most of our clients are your neighbors.
Assisting Hands Home Care is a locally owned agency that's been serving families in Kennesaw and across northwest Cobb County for years. We're not a national franchise with a call center in another state. We're around the corner, our clients are local, and the caregivers on our team are part of this community too. Right now we're looking for a few more.
What the work looks like
You'd be visiting clients in their homes during the day — helping with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), preparing meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. You'll work with the same clients week to week, so this isn't a revolving-door kind of job. You get to know people. They get to count on you. That's the job done right.
The schedule
Daytime hours are our biggest need right now — generally 8am to 5pm on weekdays. That said, we also have openings for evening and overnight shifts. If you have availability during the day, evenings, or can do overnights, there's a good chance we have something that fits. We're looking for caregivers who can commit to 20 or more hours per week.
What we need from you
Valid Georgia driver's license with a reliable, insured vehicle
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to get certified before you start)
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Clear background check
CNA or PCA experience is a plus — if you don't have credentials yet but have real caregiving experience, paid training is available
What you get
$15–$18/hr depending on your experience and certifications
W-2 employment — you're a direct hire, not a contractor or agency temp
Mileage reimbursement
Holiday pay at time-and-a-half
Bi-weekly paychecks
Referral bonuses — refer a caregiver who sticks around and you get paid
Paid training and continuing education
24/7 support
We know the people in this town. We'd like to know you too.
