Location: Morehead, KY and surrounding areas (Hiring Radius: 100-mile radius of Morehead, KY)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation:

Daily Pay: $205 per day worked, $250 per trailer (unloads only)

Breakdown Pay: $100 per day

Holiday Pay: $700 for 7 holidays

Backhaul Pay: $50 per pick-up (backhauls required)

Trailer Pay: $250 per trailer

Training/HOS and Safety Bonus: $80 per month

Benefits:

Weekly average miles: 800-1,100

Weekly average gross pay: $1,000-$1,400

Home time: Weekly with a 5 1/2 - 6-day work schedule, home for 34-hour reset (not off weekends)

Rider and pet authorization available

Can take tractor home during home time

Requirements:

Valid CDL with clean driving record

Ability to operate a sleeper truck with a 53' dry van trailer

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Join our team as a Local Delivery Truck Driver. We specialize in delivering floor-loaded freight for Family Dollar, requiring drivers to hand off loads using a set of rollers. Our drivers handle preloaded, multi-stop routes with 100% touch freight and no drop and hook.

Responsibilities include:

Preloaded, multi-stop deliveries with tight backing maneuvers

Offloading freight manually, aiming for approximately 3 loads per week with 3000 cases per trailer

Providing excellent customer service and communication as frontline representatives

Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operations and positive driver communication
