    Job Description

     Working as an Independent Contractor for LGM, you will be assigned to work on a new startup project called FUEELS

    Are you obsessed with online marketing and social media?  Our startup company whose mission is to help people have better economic lives through education, understanding, empowerment and savings; is looking for an experienced Houston based but work from home primarily, Social Media Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of our social media pages and profile presence, including but not limited to: developing and executing on a growth strategy, creating and posting content while utilizing a content calendar, engaging with the community via comments/DMs, and reporting on key metrics; aimed at increasing brand awareness and engagement.

     

    Platforms to manage include but are not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, SnapChat, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.  You will work with our content creator when necessary and will be given a lot of freedom to utilize and showcase your creativity and ideas.  The ideal candidate has experience in both content production and channel management.

     

    RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Create and Implement the company's social media strategy in close coordination with the Content Manager & Founder
    • Run paid and unpaid tests on social for content and audience insights and share learnings with the Founder
    • Use Adobe Creative Suite, and other tools to create copy and visual content for all social media channels
    • Build and oversee the content calendar to plan optimized content for each platform
    • Moderate user-generated content and develop social conversations with our audience using web tools/software
    • Keep a pulse on social trends, current events, new platform features, and best practices
    • Take actionable next steps to keep social media efforts up-to-date and effective
    • Utilize data and analytics to continue to optimize content strategy and execution
    • Connect and drive deeper engagement with the audience through daily communication
    • Drive best practices and operations across all channels

    Social Media Manager Qualifications / Skills:

    MUST HAVE:

    • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
    • Experience with Social Media Management, at least 4 years.
    • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media
    • Experience creating and implementing social media strategies with clear goals and success metrics
    • A proven track record of creating large scale growth on Facebook and/or Instagram
    • Understand and use best practices to develop KPI reporting for social media growth
    • Experience working with content management tools to schedule social media
    • Proven track record of developing and executing on influencer marketing
    • Expertise in relevant social media platforms and their algorithms
    • Experience in writing engaging copy for social media posts
    • Proficient in content marketing theory and application & knowledge of online marketing channels
    • Excellent communication skills with online communities on social networks
    • Skilled in writing and editing, content writing, Clear and clever written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
    • Great copywriting skills for writing personal development related posts
    • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
    • Good time-management skills, Great interpersonal skills, Strong data-centric analytical skills
    • Graphic design skills, Skilled in visual communication and an eye for brand aesthetics
    • An eye for design and creating engaging images that move people emotionally
    • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Google Analytics
    • Can apply lateral thinking to generate new solutions
    • Creativity, Attention to detail, Self-motivated, Creative problem-solving skills
    • Self-starter, avid problem solver, energetic go-getter
    • Confident in working independently and willing to experiment to find what works best
    • Process mindset to build things that are scalable through workflow and process documentation

    WORK HOURS & BENEFITS

    • 90% Remote - Work from home WHEREVER you want and in business hours WHENEVER you want. We care more about you delivering excellent project outcomes then we do what exact hours you worked. You will have to report to the owner twice per week in person for a 1 to 2 hour meeting each.
    • Payroll and conditions - We pay on time and/or when each milestone of work is delivered - we never fail. We work transparently and expect nothing less than exceptional quality - would you want to provide anything less? Of course not!
    • Newer Laptop Provide - We provide you with a company laptop in which to conduct all company business on.  You must have access to high-speed internet at home or abroad when you are working.

    COMPENSATION:

    $48,000 BASE ($2000 PAID ON THE 1ST AND 15TH EACH MONTH) + POTENTIAL YEAR END BONUS to $100,000 PLUS
