Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collect police reports.
• Open personal injury claims with Insurance Companies.
• Open Medical Payment claims with Insurance Companies.
• Draft Notice of Representation and Medical Releases
• Supervision of client's treatment
• Place phone: calls to clients to follow up. • Collect all medical records and billing. • Negotiate medical bills and l iens for sett lement. · • Check emails.
• Return phone calls and emails.
• Build relationships with facilities.
• Draft demands
• Perform legal research.
• Draft complaints/pleadings
• Draft discovery materials
• Supervising statute of limitations deadlines.
• Supervising litigation deadlines.
• Assist with scheduling of hearing, mediation and depositions.
• Interacts with clients, visitors, and other applicable persons (in person and by telephone) in such a way that promotes respect and encourages cooperation.
• Performs any other job task as requested through the chain of command.
