Route Sales Representative Job Summary
We are looking for an enterprising, self-starting individual to join our company as a Route Sales Representative. As part of our team, you cultivate current customer relationships. You work under a regional sales director, building relationships with existing customers. You use your skills to ensure fresh stock, accurate order fulfillment of requested products and overall primary responsibility of an excellent customer experience.
Route Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities
· Travel within your territory to meet clients one-on-one at assigned intervals
· Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, and how they can benefit our customers
· Manage and track sales and progress in customer relationship management software
· Place accurate orders in customer relationship management software
· Ensure product is rotated and scrap/cores are picked-up
· Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
· Maintaining database (NetSuite, Excel, etc.) of assigned customer information
· Support customers to ensure satisfaction and realize opportunities for further sales
Route Sales Representative Requirements and Qualifications
· A self-starting personality with a spirit of entrepreneurship
· Prior experience in sales, particularly in a B2B environment
· Experience with common customer management relationship software and platforms
· Understanding of common sales techniques and theory, including sales funnel
· Persuasive and goal-oriented
· Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
· Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
· Self-motivated and self-directed
· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
· In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry
· +3 years of documented success
· Microsoft suite proficiency
